Hi! So I’m both French and Canadian, but I’ve lived my whole life in France. My taste for adventure and travel dates back to my childhood. Like any decent person who grew up in the 90s, my first heroes were Indiana Jones and other adventurers such as Lara Croft. Unfortunately, there was no “Passport for adventure” degree in college and so I kind of lost myself for a while… to finally end up in retailing. The problem is that the subway-work-sleep (“métro-boulot-dodo” as we say in French) got the best of me. And thanks to a few exemples in my entourage that live from their passion, I thought “Why not me? Let’s try it at least!”. And here I am in front of you! I am a very curious person with a hint of procrastination and I…will finish this sentence tomorrow…
Of kino-Congolese origin, I was born in Montpellier, in southern France, and this is where I spent most of my life. After some family and school trips (USA, Canada, Spain, Italy), it is ultimately a 3-month internship in Montreal that allowed me to live my very first experience of living abroad. I keep a very good memory of it, and even if I returned to France, I have kept the idea of moving there someday. In my previous life, I was a Chemical Engineer but I wasn’t passionated about my job at all. Being a foodie and very stubborn, I’m also a real tv show addict! I currently am watching around 40 of them and it was also the subject of my first blog.
We met in high school and we have been together for 10 years. Our trip to Cape Verde was a real trigger and gave us the desire to explore and travel more and more. You will find on this travel blog all of our travelling adventures and we’ll not only provide you with our best photos but also with the most useful, diversified and off the beat information possible!
